Douglas Goudey was born and raised in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He has had a lifetime passion for real estate. Douglas Goudey was born and raised in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He has had a lifetime passion for real estate. This enthusiasm for real estate started at an early age brought about by assisting with his family’s business of real estate development and management in the Berkshires. He graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. Degree in Finance and minor in Law. After college he returned to the Berkshires. In 1990 he obtained his Real Estate license and began working with Wheeler & Taylor in 1994. After working multiple roles throughout the company, he was named Chief Financial Officer of the Insurance Division in 2010 and President of the Real Estate Company in 2014, which are the current roles he serves. Concurrent with his dual roles at Wheeler & Taylor, Doug serves in many community roles in the Southern Berkshires. He currently serves as the President of the Stockbridge Land Trust, Treasurer/Secretary for the Berkshire County Board of Realtors, Assessor for the Town of Stockbridge, and is a member of the Stockbridge Tourism Committee. Traditionally Doug does not maintain many listings nor work with many buyers but rather refers and supports the efforts of the other agents at Wheeler & Taylor.
